Ballroom - Dances include the Waltz, Foxtrot, Quickstep, Tango Latin American - Cha Cha, Rumba, Paso Doble, Samba Salsa - Bachata, Mambo, Merengue, Bossa Nova, Theatre - Ballet, Tap, Theatrecraft, Musical Theatre Jive - Swing Jive, Rock n Roll, East and West Coast Swing Argentine Tango, Vienesse Waltz, Line Dance, Solo Line Dance, Retrocise, Street, Heels and more.

We only have the one class for solo dancers running at the moment which is fully booked. The details are on the timetable for this class. If you want to leave your contact details we can add you onto our reserve list?

If you are attending one of our Ballroom and Latin or Salsa and Latin lessons it is recommended to avoid trainers as this prevent any glide or slight movement, often dancers find them sticky. Small heels can be worn, or dance shoes.

I'm afraid we don't cover children's classes.

Ideally at the start of every month. We always cover new dances or new routines every month. If you are looking to join us this is always the best time. Alternatively get in touch we can have a word with teacher and find a more precise date for you.

At Tristan Dance Studio, private dance lessons are available by appointment only. Due to limited spaces, we recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred time slot. To schedule a private lesson, you can contact us directly via email. Our team will be happy to assist you in matching you with a qualified instructor who specializes in the dance style you're interested in. This is not a problem at all, many of our wedding couples come to us without any prior experience. Our teachers will guide you through your journey. Our Bronze package is 5 50 minute lessons on a couple to teacher basis. This will be using your song choice and your bespoke choreography. This package will allow something simple and repeatable to wow your guests. The teacher will work with you and to your ability to create something wonderful. Our Silver package is 7 50 minute lessons on a couple to teacher basis, with everything above and less repetition. Our teachers will also put in a wow factor moment of a lean or a lift depending how the client wants their routine to look. This can also be an option for anyone just wanted that little extra time to polish their routine up. Our Gold package is 10 50 minute lessons similar to above, usually one complete routine comprising the whole song. There will be less repetition with a few wow factors added dependant on the client's requirements. Again as above the extra lessons can be there for anyone who wants to make sure they are confident ahead of their big day and just want a little extra time to be absolutely happy.
